Custom paint . . .
Over previous years as paint finishes have advanced a staggering number of effects have become available. Its hard to see the full effects of these paints and dyes from a photo but hopefully it will give you some idea. The first photo is of a Vauxhall Cavalier that has been done in one of the many Rage Extreme finishes. More pictures of this car can be seen on the Special Body page. The other five photos below are of a Fairlady 300ZX which along with some body mods has been sprayed in another paint from the same range - a vivid deep blue with a total flip to brilliant green - it also has an immense sparkle in direct sunlight. More photos of cars resprayed in these colours are to follow.
Along with the custom painting aspect, we have been heavily involved with the body modification of todays street/cruise cars, i.e. Clio's, Megane's, Mitsubushi Evo's, Subaru Impreza's, etc. You name it, we've done it. Below are two pictures of a standard (white) BMW 3 series that was stolen/recovered and then modified by ourselves. The full story behind this vehicle and more pictures can be seen on the Larger Projects page. More pictures will be added to this section at a later date. We are busy creating cars and don't have much time to fool around on computers. cc: the management.
Below is a Ford Stepside from the early 50's. This vehicle, along with some slight mods, is painted deep turquoise, a colour not on sale but mixed by ourselves.
Below is a Mercedes SL being treated to lashings of tinted candy/lacquer over a dark violet base. The car has had some bits altered in order for its huge new alloys to fit snugly yet with correct clearance. Soon after this picture was taken it was collected by its very proud owner who tells us it's a real head turner wherever he goes. We have received many enquiries and commisions just from this one job.
The vehicle below is the prize possesion of Peter B Griffith, chairman of the Cadillac Owners Club UK. It arrived with us mostly in a collection of boxes and crates. After many hours of welding, panel beating and totally stripping to bare metal, it was treated after anti-corrosion and priming to many coats of deep burgundy candy apple over a black base. Over two gallons of HS lacquer was then applied. This vehicle has been present at many car shows so there is a chance you may have seen it in the flesh.
Below is an air brush mural painted by ourselves. As you can see it is totally freehand and no masking or templates have been used at all. We think this is a much better effect than using stencils as there is no hard edge and often leaves people thinking just how it was done. Not that its a great big deal, but it can be gratifying when someone asks. We can paint an elephant on a mini or a mini on an elephant. Whatever your requirements please contact us. 0151 630 5728
